We reimagined Oof Doofs digital presence to bring its online experience in line with its cultural impact. The goal was to redesign and rebuild the website from the ground up, delivering a sleek, high performing platform that could keep pace with one of the most iconic names in queer nightlife.

About the project

Poof Doof has always been loud, proud and unapologetically extra, but the existing website did not reflect that energy. The challenge was to create a digital experience that matched the scale and spectacle of the brand while improving usability and performance. It needed to support high traffic ticket drops, national tour dates, merchandise sales and media coverage, all without compromising speed or clarity. The platform had to feel bold and expressive while remaining seamless and intuitive behind the scenes.

Development was centered around performance and presence. We rebuilt the site architecture to support fast load times and smooth navigation, pairing it with a refined visual direction that feels fierce, polished and unmistakably Poof Doof. Every touchpoint, from ticketing to merch to event listings, was engineered to feel effortless while maintaining maximum impact.

The new Poof Doof website now acts as a central hub for its national footprint, bringing events, tours and community together in one cohesive digital space. It delivers the speed and scalability required for a nightlife institution while amplifying the brand’s unmistakable attitude.

For us at September, this project was about translating cultural legacy into digital form and proving that a website can be just as loud, fabulous and commanding as the dance floor itself.
