Sounds Like is an independent music collective with a simple belief. Music first, always. When they were ready to introduce themselves to the world, they came to September to make sure the brand was worthy of what they were building.


ABOUT
Sounds Like were entering a crowded events landscape with a clear vision and the conviction to back it up. The brief was to build a brand and digital presence that matched their ambition, communicated their philosophy and positioned them as a serious force in the independent music scene from day one.
Development was centered around clarity and cultural alignment. We built the website to feel immersive yet intentional, ensuring it was visually compelling, easy to navigate, and structured to grow alongside the collective.
Our scope extended beyond the build itself, covering brand strategy and positioning, visual identity design, Brand Bible development, copywriting and tone of voice, website design and development, campaign strategy and promotional rollout, marketing asset creation, blog and content production, social media strategy and channel planning, content direction and visual storytelling, community management, and ongoing caption writing and voice refinement.

SCOPE
Our work spanned brand strategy and positioning, visual identity, brand guidelines, copywriting and tone of voice, website design and development and continued campaign marketing collateral.
For us at September, this project was an opportunity to shape a brand from the ground up and define what a modern, culture led music platform can become.






SUMMARY
Sounds Like now has a brand that commands the room before a word is spoken. A platform built to grow with them and a visual identity that reflects the depth of what they stand for. For September, this was the kind of brief we exist for. A strong vision, a defining moment and the opportunity to build something that lasts.
