TradieBuzz started as a simple idea. Make it easier for Australians to find a tradie they could actually trust. When they came to September in 2022, we helped turn that idea into a fully formed national platform, built from scratch and built to scale.


ABOUT
The market TradieBuzz was entering was full of outdated directories and clunky platforms that nobody enjoyed using. The brief was to build something different. A brand that felt distinctly Australian, practical and genuinely scroll worthy, with real functionality behind the scenes. It needed to balance entertainment with utility, build credibility quickly and grow a national audience without losing its edge.
Development was centered around scale, clarity and cultural relevance. We led brand strategy and naming, visual identity design and tone of voice, then built and structured the website with strong UX and database architecture to support growth. Our scope extended across digital and paid advertising, campaign promotions, marketing asset creation, EDMs and database growth, blog and content production, social media strategy, content direction, motion and meme driven creative production, community management and performance tracking. Every platform specific asset and paid social campaign was engineered to drive reach, engagement and measurable results.

SCOPE
Our work spanned the full build. Brand strategy and naming, visual identity, tone of voice, website design and development, UX and database architecture. Beyond the build we led digital and paid advertising, campaign promotions, EDMs, database growth, blog and content production, social media strategy, motion and meme driven creative, community management and performance tracking. Everything engineered to drive reach, engagement and measurable results at scale.
For us at September, this project was about building from zero to scale and proving that when strategy, content and infrastructure move together, a platform can grow fast without losing its edge.

SUMMARY
TradieBuzz now reaches over 221K followers and more than 100K monthly users with a growing national footprint. The platform blends content and functionality seamlessly, making it simple to find the right tradie while building a brand people actively choose to engage with. A full brand refresh is currently underway to bring it into the next chapter. For September, this was about building from zero to scale. When strategy, content and infrastructure move together, a platform can grow fast without losing what made it worth following in the first place.
